Our Story
Sometimes you never know when that one person will come along. Then we found one another. What started with a single message, quickly became late-night conversations, shared laughter, and the realisation that we'd found something truly special.
From our first adventure together to building a life side by side, every moment has deepened what we share. We've grown together, supported each other's dreams, and discovered that home isn't a place, it's a person.
Now, we're ready for our greatest adventure yet: saying “I do” surrounded by everyone we love. We couldn't imagine celebrating this moment without you.

By Car
Winters Barns is situated just over a mile south of Canterbury City. There is a signed turning off the B2068 Nackington Road north of the bridge over the A2. Opposite the signs to Canterbury Rugby Club.

By Train & Bus
Canterbury has two stations: Canterbury West and Canterbury East. From the station, a taxi to the venue takes approximately 15 minutes. There is a regular bus service from Canterbury to Old Dover Road a few minutes walk away and a less regular service to Nackington Road.
Local Taxis
We recommend booking your taxi in advance, especially for the journey home. If you've been enjoying the celebrations, please don't drink and drive, your safety is important to us.

Questions
FAQs
Our nieces and nephews will be joining us for the daytime celebrations. We kindly ask that other little ones join us for the evening reception from 7pm onwards, when we'd love to see the whole family together on the dance floor!
Guests are welcome from 1:00pm, with the ceremony beginning at 2:00pm. The bar will be open from 1:00pm and will close fifteen minutes before our wedding ceremony begins. We recommend arriving with plenty of time to find your seat and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Yes! Winters Barns has ample free parking available for all guests. The car park is located adjacent to the main barn.
We'd love you to dress up and feel fabulous! Smart/formal attire is encouraged. Ladies, the venue has gravel paths and grass, so consider this for footwear choices.
There is no need. We will supply confetti as it must be natural petals at Winters Barns.
We kindly ask for an 'unplugged' ceremony—please keep phones and cameras tucked away so we can all be fully present. Our photographer will capture every moment, and we'll share the photos with everyone afterwards.
Please let us know your dietary requirements when you RSVP, and our caterers will ensure you're well looked after.
The party continues until midnight. Taxis can be arranged to collect you at the end of the evening, we recommend booking in advance.
